Elliot Cadeau DIVINE MADE Hoops Collection
MADE Hoops is the world’s largest youth basketball event operator, celebrating its 10 Year Anniversary. Elliot started playing in the MADE Hoops tournaments in 7th grade when MADE was in its second year. In 8th grade, Elliot and his team NY Lightning won the MADE Hoops Championship. Elliot contributes a lot of his success to his start at MADE where he played with and against the highest level competition.
DIVINE
This is a word that my friends and I have used for a while. When you are in an environment like we are you have to have something that you can go back to, a feeling, something that makes you remember why you are doing this. My friends & I would work out together on our days off, we would meet in the park to play if we had a weekend off BUT when it was time to compete we had to be able to be fierce competitors. We had to be divine. 'Divine' means to me that I am good at this, this is what I am supposed to do. Divine is more than a word, it is what we have to be in order to make it.
Divine är ett ord som Elliot och hans kompisar använt ett tag nu. När du lever i en miljö som Elliot gör så måste du ha någonting som du kan gå tillbaka till, en känsla som får dig att komma ihåg varför du gör detta!
Mina kompisar och jag tränade tillsammans i parken på våra lediga dagar, men när det var tid för att tävla så behövde vi vara de allra värsta konkurrenterna. Vi behövde vara ’divine’
Divine betyder för mig att jag är bra på detta och detta är vad jag ska göra. Divine är mer än ett ord, det är vad jag måste vara för att kunna komma dit jag vill komma.
